Professor Kenneth Kam-siu CHEUNG, Dean of Students 

Professor Kenneth Cheung graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of New Asia College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2000. He is currently a Professor of the Department, and Honorary Research Fellow of the D.C. Lau Research Centre for Ancient Chinese Texts. Professor Cheung has assumed the position of Dean of Students since August 2021. In an interview of the New Asia Life Monthly, Professor Cheung shared with us his student days in the College and his vision as the Dean of Students (October 2021 issue 10, pages 20-24). Professor Cheung, with the concerted effort of College colleagues and the Student Union, released two volumes of Cheng Ming booklet (2021 – Chinese / English) (2022 – Chinese / English) to enhance students’ understanding of the College and their sense of belonging to the College.
