Background, Vision and Mission
The College and School of Life Sciences have co-organized the Yen Kwo Yung Lecture in Life Sciences since 2015 with the aim to broaden the knowledge of life sciences among students and the general public, particularly its value and applications in modern society. The Lecture is supported by the generous donation of The Mr. Yen Kwo Yung Memorial Fund.
(A) Terms of Reference
- To invite scholars to be the speakers of the lecture series;
- Examine the applications for financial support for inviting scholars;
- Organize a series of lectures, with the audience of College students, students of Life Sciences and general public.
(B) Composition
- The Committee consists of a maximum of 18 members;
- The Secretary is appointed by the College Secretary.
(C) Meeting Schedule
The Chairperson may convene other ad hoc meeting(s) if necessary.
