Service Learning - Creating a Better World through Diversity and Inclusion
  • Unit: 3
  • Term 2
  • Introduction
“Work” is inherently a form of service, originally rooted in caring for others. However, in real life, the workplace often gives rise to various problems. This course begins by examining one's own or classmates’ part-time work experiences, then moves towards empathizing with other types of labour and proposing services for them. Finally, students will use creativity to design a new service prototype in a fast-food restaurant setting.
