This programme is organized by the University of Taipei and co-organized by New Asia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It aims to promote cross-cultural exchange and understanding among students, and to provide an in-depth understanding of topics such as Taiwan’s society, culture, and indigenous peoples. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in service learning with local students and participate in various cultural tours and student exchange activities to broaden their horizons.
Programme includes:
– “Construction of Social Prescribing” Workshop, to understand social issues related to the integration of medical and social care.
– Indigenous Peoples Workshop, to gain an in-depth understanding of indigenous cultures and issues.
– Visit to the Taromak tribe in Taitung, to interact with local people.
– Participation in various cultural tours and student exchange activities.
Period:
23 June – 30 June 2025 (To be confirmed)
Fee:
HK$2,000* (including round-trip air-ticket#, accommodation and activities). Participants need to pay for meals, transportation and personal expenditures.
*Participation fee HK$800 will be refunded upon the completion of the programme.
# All participants should travel on the same flight for both the outbound and inbound journeys.
Criteria:
– All NA students are welcome.
– Interview is required.
– Participants have to submit an individual study report and a group vlog video upon the completion of the programme.
