“New Asia College / Hertford College of Oxford University, Study Abroad and Cultural Exploration Programme” was successfully organized from 28 July to 19 August 2024. This prorgamme aims to enhance students’ language proficiency and let them explore the English culture. This year, 15 students were selected to take part in a three-week summer programme at Hertford College of Oxford University which is one of the oldest Colleges within the University. The programme included training on English skills and communication skills, visits to various museums, study tours such as in London, Blenheim and the Cotswolds. Students also attended classes to learn about British architecture, arts, history, literature, current affairs, film and music, etc. At the end of programme, students dressed up for the gala dinner to celebrate their achievements at a memorable candle-lit dinner in one of the historic dining halls at Hertford College. It was also a great opportunity for our students to exchange ideas with Oxford students and other international students.
