The New Asia Young Scholars Scheme 2022/23 was kicked off in September 2022, with its Inauguration Dinner successfully held on 18 October.
 
The New Asia Young Scholars Scheme aims at deepening students’ understanding of College history and spirit, empowering them to become responsible individuals towards society as well as equipping them with qualities that contemporary intellectuals and leaders should possess.
 
This year, a number of guests, including Vice-Chairperson of the College Alumni Association Mr. Wong Sui-ki Anthony, Mr. Lam Chi-chiu Roland and voluntary mentors Mr. Wong Ho-chiu, Prof. Ho Man-wui Richard, Prof. Fan Sin-piu, Dr. Chui Pui-chee and Ms. Leong Yin-nu, were invited to attend the Dinner to share the joy and happiness.
 
The Inauguration Dinner marked the completion of the one-year training of the 9th batch of New Asia Young Scholars, and the commencement of training of the 10th  batch. In the coming year, the nine new Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in a series of events, including various College meetings, talks and alumni activities, to communicate and learn from professors, alumni and trustees of the College. We wish the New Asia Young Scholars a fruitful and prosperous year ahead, during which they will strive to promote Chinese culture.
