The College’s 72nd Graduation Ceremony was held at the University Mall on 9 November 2023. It was our honour to have invited Professor Stephen Y.L. Cheung, SBS, JP, Officier dans I’Ordre des Palmes Academiques, Former President and Chair Professor of Public Policy, The Education University of Hong Kong, to officiate at the Ceremony.

Over 750 graduates of the College attended the Ceremony and were awarded graduation certificates this year. Live streaming was also made available to the graduates and parents who were unable to attend in person. Over 50 trustees and teaching staff attended the Ceremony and shared the joy with the graduates and parents.

College Head Professor Sun-On Chan delivered the opening remarks and extended his congratulations to all graduates. Officiating guest Professor Stephen Cheung then shared the importance of life-long learning and self-reflection with the graduates. He also encouraged the graduates to stay strong and pass on the New Asia spirit.

At the end of the Ceremony, all guests and graduates followed the tradition and walked up to the New Asia Amphitheatre via the New Asia Road. A group photo was taken at the New Asia Amphitheatre, marking the end of this memorable event.
