Participants of the 12th New Asia Young Scholars Scheme visited Chengdu, Sichuan between 31 May and 3 June 2025, for cultural exploration, exchanges and research, through which they have gained a deeper understanding of Chinese history and its essence.

College Head Professor Sun-On Chan, Dean of Students Professor Kenneth Cheung, donors of the Scheme Mr. Lam Chi-chiu Roland and Ms. Michell Wong, as well as a number of College Trustees also took part in the tour. Visits to the Sanxingdui Museum, the Jinsha Site and the Chengdu Museum, etc. have widen participants’ perspective of history and enhance their cultural literacy.
