The 18th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards, organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), was held on 11 June 2024. Our alumni Mr. Tung Wing-hong (11/Fine Arts) and Mr. Kong Chun-hei (09/Fine Arts) were presented with the “Award for Young Artist (Media Arts)” and “Award for Young Artist (Visual Arts)” respectively, in recognition of their exceptional achievements and contributions in the artistic fields.

Mr. Tung is an artist specialising in kinetic installation art. He received the UOB Golden Garden Installation Art Award in 2015. His work has been featured in a number of exhibitions focusing on arts and technologies. Mr. Kong is a versatile artist specialising in cross-media installation, video art and painting. His artworks are often inspired by everyday life and conflicts. His works were featured at various international exhibitions and venues.
