The 19^th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards, organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), was held on 10 June 2025. Our alumna Ms. Cheng Hung Dony (17/Fine Arts) was honoured with the “Award for Young Artist (Visual Arts)” in recognition of her exceptional achievements and contributions in the field of visual arts.

Ms. Cheng is an emerging Hong Kong visual artist who primarily focuses on painting while also exploring media such as video and installation art. Her work, often inspired by Hong Kong’s artificial nature and urban alienation, examines the delicate interplay between humanity, nature and cityscapes. She has previously received the “Fresh Trend Art Award” and the “Grotto Fine Art Award”.
