The Seminar on Traditional Chinese Culture is co-organised by New Asia College, the Hong Kong and Traditional Chinese Culture Research Council, the High School Education Committee of the Chinese Society of Education, the Su-Shu-Lou Cultural and Educational Foundation, the Institute of Contemporary Education Research of CUHK (Shenzhen), as well as New Asia Middle School. The Seminar aims to strengthen secondary school teachers’ understanding of traditional Chinese culture through a series of lectures and sharing sessions, after which participants will be able to promote what they have observed and learnt in Hong Kong amongst their peers and students.
The 22nd Seminar on Traditional Chinese Culture was held from 10 to 15 July 2025. Over 40 participants of senior secondary education units from Mainland China, Taiwan and Macau engaged in six days of discussions and sharing sessions on the theme “The Analects and Self-Cultivation” this year. By attending lectures hosted by renowned scholars from the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, as well as visiting different cultural organisations, participants have learnt much and shared their views with fellow teachers. All of them have acquired valuable knowledge through this Seminar.
