Ten New Asia students, accompanied by Professor Sidney Cheung from the Department of Anthropology, travelled to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and other areas in Japan from 30 May to 5 June 2025. The trip aimed to deepen their understanding of the rich traditions and historical culture of Kyoto and the Kansai region. In addition, the students participated in various traditional cultural activities, and visited the Kyoto Sangyo University where they interacted with its staff and students to foster cultural exchanges and mutual understanding.
