Ten New Asia students were selected to participate in a three-week summer programme organised by the Kyoto Sangyo University from 19 June to 7 July 2023 which covered Japanese learning, cultural experience and exchange activities with local students. At the end of the programme, the students led by Professor Cheung Chin-hung Sidney of the Department of Anthropology embarked on a one-week study tour in the Kansai region to gain an in-depth understanding of Japanese history and culture.
