Our Colleagues Received RGC Collaborative Research Fund

[February 2024 issue]

NA-affiliated Professor Yu Jun, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics and Director of Institute of Digestive Disease, Faculty of Medicine and Professor So Hon-cheong, Associate Professor, School of Biomedical Sciences received the Collaborative Research Fund by the Research Grants Council. Professor Yu was awarded the Collaborative Research Project Grant for her project entitled “Targeting m6A Modification to Boost Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Efficacy in Colorectal Cancer”, while Professor So was awarded the Young Collaborative Research Grant for his project entitled “Uncovering the Whole Spectrum of Genetic Variations Underlying Schizophrenia and its Prognosis: A Wholegenome Sequencing (WGS) Study and Prediction Modeling with Machine Learning Approaches”. The fund supports multi-investigator, multi-disciplinary projects in order to encourage more research groups to engage in creative, high-quality cross-disciplinary/cross-institutional projects.
