The Committee on College Culture of the College and the New Asia Chinese Music Society co-organised the Lunchtime Music Concert “JOIN to JOY” on 21 March 2025. Centred around the theme of “Golden Oldies”, some greatest Chinese hits from various eras were selected, paying tribute to the pioneers of the Chinese pop music scene. For the first time, the society incorporated traditional Chinese music into vocal performance, which attracted overwhelming enthusiasm from the audience. This has reaffirmed that traditional Chinese music is not only a nostalgic relic of the past but also a medium which can still resonate deeply with us today.
