Over 120 staff members and their families attended the “Lunar New Year Party 2025”, jointly organised by New Asia College and the Staff Association on 20 February, filling Yun Chi Hsien with a festive and celebratory atmosphere.
The event was kicked off with an amusing riddle-guessing game. College Head Professor Sun-On Chan then delivered a speech, wishing colleagues a new year filled with the wisdom and resourcefulness of a serpent. Chairperson of the Staff Association, Dr. Margaret Lei, thanked everyone for their participation and introduced the activities offered by the Association in the coming year.
During the Poon Choi Luncheon, Dr. Margaret Lei and Vice-Chairperson Mr. Parker Chan hosted an interesting quiz game on the history and stories of New Asia College. Finally, the lucky draw brought the luncheon to a climax where participants waited with anticipation for their numbers to be drawn.
The Lunar New Year Party not only allowed staff to enjoy the festive atmosphere but also fostered mutual exchanges and friendship. We look forward to gathering again next year to celebrate the Lunar New Year!
