[February 2022 issue]
Organized by the New Asia College Students' Union (NASU), the New Asia Cultural Week was held in mid-January. A series of workshops were arranged for students, including “Traditional Handcraft Workshop” to introduce flower plague backdrops' crafting techniques, “Cantonese Cultural Workshop” and “Paint Pouring Workshop”, etc. As these activities were well-received by students, extra sessions of some workshops were even arranged. Apart from different workshops, NASU also prepared gift packs for students. The “Our 2021” exhibition was held at the path outside Ch’ien Mu Library, at which lyrics of Cantonese pop song were quoted to highlight the changes in CUHK and the community. A number of Emas with words and wishes written by students were hung to mark the new year.
