In this exhibition, Li Po-man Bobo was inspired by Descartes’ philosophical proposition “I think, therefore I am”. As a person who loves art so much, painting has become an integral part of her life. Creating and sharing her art pieces with everyone is an affirmation of her own existence. It allows her to find the meaning of life and helps her to develop a growth mindset in all. She insists on painting her life and does what she likes every day. It is a kind of actualisation of what she believes, just because “I paint, therefore I am”.

The Art of CUHK 2025 Annual Exhibition: M.F.A. Year One Exhibition
Period: 1 to 22 June

The M.F.A. Year One Exhibition is presenting works of the two first-year MFA students, Kong Chun-hei and Li Hiu-wa, which consider the current society and their own status from the perspectives of misplaced things, medium thresholds and image time.
