The Seminar on Traditional Chinese Culture aims to strengthen secondary school teachers’ understanding of traditional Chinese culture through a series of lectures, sharing sessions and visits to relevant organisations in Hong Kong, after which participants will be able to promote what they have seen and learnt in Hong Kong among their peers and students.

The 20th Seminar on Traditional Chinese Culture, with the theme “Central Statement of ‘The Analects’: Conduct Oneself in Society”, was held from 12 to 18 July 2023. Some 30 participants of senior secondary education units from Mainland China and Taiwan as well as Macau joined the programme this year. The Seminar invited outstanding Chinese scholars from the Mainalnd, Taiwan and Hong Kong to give lectures. Participants discussed and analysed the content of the lectures, and exchanged views with others every evening. The Seminar has provided an excellent platform for participants to learn from renowned scholars and share their views with fellow teachers.
