Professor Wei Juncheng graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Wuhan University in 1989 and a PhD from the University of Minnesota in 1994. After conducting postdoctoral research at the International School for Advanced Studies, Italy, he joined the CUHK Department of Mathematics in 1995. Professor Wei received the ICCM Distinguished Paper Award in 2025, and the Jeffery-Williams Prize of the Canadian Mathematical Society in 2020, etc. With over 500 academic papers, he was named ISI Highly Cited in 2018. Professor Wei’s main research interests are nonlinear partial differential equations, concentration phenomena and blow ups, and mathematical biology. |
