The scholarships from New Asia College have been of immense significance to me. Hailing from a financially constrained background, after entering university, I needed to take up part-time jobs to support my living expenses and contribute to the household finances. Not only have these scholarships alleviated the financial burden on my family, they have allowed me to focus on my studies and help lay a solid knowledge foundation to underpin my aspirations, and to enjoy university life like other fellow students. I was also able to save up money to travel and study in Beijing, where I could truly experience the historical depth of the local culture. These opportunities are undoubtedly made possible by the support of the college and donors, which have allowed me to pursue my studies without worries.
