New Asianites’ Sentiment: Oral History Project
Project Introduction

The story of New Asia College spans decades—from its modest origins on Kweilin Street to its gradual growth on Farm Road, and now to its thriving campus in Ma Liu Shui. It is a narrative woven by generations of faculty members, students, alumni and supporters. The deep connections formed here, the devotion to scholarship and a shared journey through changing times have defined what it means to carry the “New Asianites’ Sentiment.”

As time passes, precious recollections of the College’s early years risk fading away. To preserve these voices, the College launched the “New Asianites’ Sentiment: Oral History Project” in 2023. Through interviews with faculty members, alumni, and staff members across generations, we bring the vibrant past of New Asia back to life. Encompassing both personal journeys and overarching themes, these accounts record our collective memory and serve as crucial archival material for future research.

We cordially invite you to listen to these unique stories and discover the enduring vitality of the “New Asia Spirit.”
