WONG Ying (Percy)

The New Asia College scholarships and bursaries enabled me to achieve my vision of obtaining a second undergraduate degree in architectural studies after completing my first degree in Visual Arts. Because I am the only unmarried mature member of my family, I was hesitant to begin my academic journey in architectural studies, which I believe will enhance my art-based knowledge with technical practice. With the incredible support of the College’s scholarships and bursaries, I am able to alleviate my family’s financial burden on my academic expenses for the studies of architecture, which demand great amounts of materials for drawing and model-making. Furthermore, I am motivated to continue my studies and pursue a postgraduate degree overseas in order to meet the requirements for becoming a registered architect as well as possess a worldwide perspective. Many thanks to the College for providing substantial financial aid to students like me, which encourages me to continually strive for advancement and to attain the ideals with perseverance.
