Editor’s Pick
In this issue of the Monthly Magazine, we have a piece from our College Trustee Ms. Lee Kit-lan (68/Chinese Language and Literature), recounting the opening of the Story of the Leung Family – An Untold Hong Kong Legendary Story Exhibition, and highlighting the compassion and achievements of Ms. Leung Hung-kee, former Vice-Chairperson of the College Board of Trustees, and her family; we also reposted articles of Professor King Yeo-chi Ambrose (former College Head and former Vice-Chancellor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong) and Professor Wong Wai-leung (69/Chinese Language and Literature). The former provided an analysis of Professor King’s three books, while the latter wrote about Professor King’s academic contributions and life.
Anniversary Publications
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the College, the Publication Working Group will collate and publish the writings of Professor Ho Chien-tsung. To give readers a better understanding of Professor Ho, we have invited Professor Lee Hok-ming (60/Chinese Language and Literature) for an article in memory of Professor Ho and share his acquisitions through reading Professor Ho’s publications, in particular skills of appreciating and writing poetries.
Column “Heterogeneity in a Single Theme”
The theme of this issue is “Of greatest fulness, deemed a void” and is written by two alumni Mr. Yang Sze-ngai Raymond (17/Government and Public Administration) and Mr. Chan Pak-ka (07/Chinese Language and Literature). Raymond expressed his thoughts on completeness and incompleteness through the journey of entrepreneurship. Pak-ka discussed the uncertainties and experiences encountered during the journey to Japan, and how they contrasted with the earlier chapters of the series.
