Anniversary Publications
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of New Asia College, the Anniversary Publication Committee will compile and publish the writings of Professor Ho Chien-tsung. To provide readers with a deeper understanding of Professor Ho, Professor Nicholas Louis Chan, the Editor-in-Chief of New Asia Life Monthly Magazine and Associate Professor and Vice-Chair of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, compiled a summary of Professor Ho’s works.
Column “Heterogeneity in a Single Theme”
The theme of this issue is “Bottleneck” written by two alumni Ms. Cheung Ying Jasmine (17/Chinese Medicine) and Mr. Yang Sze-ngai Raymond (17/Government and Public Administration). Both shared how they encountered and overcame bottlenecks during their Chinese medicine practice and entrepreneurship.
Contributions
This issue featured contributions from Dr. Yip Ka-wing (03/Chinese Language and Literature; Lecturer of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature) and Professor Luk Yun-tong Thomas (69/English; Senior College Tutor). Dr. Yip’s article guided readers through the New Asia campus, exploring its cultural landscapes, while Professor Luk systematically examined Western theories on the ritual origins of theatre from a scholarly perspective.
