New Asia College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Greater Bay Area Innovation, Technology and Cultural Tour

In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of New Asia College, the College is organizing the ‘Greater Bay Area Innovation, Technology and Cultural Tour’ from 2 to 5 March 2025. Through visits to CUHK (Shenzhen), featured enterprises and cultural parks in the Greater Bay Area, this tour aims to provide students with insights into the region’s corporate and cultural development. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with staff and students from Harmonia College, our sister college, fostering stronger connections between the two colleges.


All NA students are welcome!


Eligibility
• Current New Asia College student
• Holders of a valid travel document for entry to the People’s Republic of China


Period
The tour will depart from Hong Kong on 2 March 2025, and return to Hong Kong on 5 March 2025 (4 days 3 night).


Itinerary
(Day 1) 2 March 2025 Departure
• Visit to CUHK (Shenzhen)
• Overnight stay at Harmonia College
(Day 2) 3 March 2025
• Visit to DJI (tentative)
• Visit to Dafen Oil Painting Village
(Day 3) 4 March 2025
• Visit to Oppo (Shenzhen)
• Visit to Nantou Ancient Town & Qianyu Island Cultural and Creative Park
(Day 4) 5 March 2025 Return
• Visit to Tencent (tentative)
• Visit to Shekou Sea World Culture and Arts Centre
Remark: Some destinations may be adjusted based on the actual visiting schedule.


Fees and Deposit
Fees of this tour is fully subsidized by the College (transportation, meals, accommodation and insurance charges are included). Participants are required to pay a refundable deposit of HKD1,000 before departure, which will be fully refunded upon successful completion of the tour. The deposit will be forfeited if students fail to participate in the tour as planned after successful registration.

Students who are interested to join should complete their online application on or before 12:00 noon, 20 February 2025.

The estimated number of participants for the tour is 25. Quotas will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
