The Committee on Environmental Protection of New Asia College is organizing a “DIY Fotomo Workshop”. “Fotomo” is a combination of the words “Foto”, which sounds like “photo”, and “model”. This concept originates from Japanese photographer Kimio Itozaki, who combines photos with models to create three-dimensional effects, so as to more realistically present the real world. This workshop will focus on Hong Kong landmarks, classic local shops and stalls, showing participants how to create Fotomo artworks. Participants are required to bring their own eco-friendly materials, such as discarded plastic food containers, beverage cartons or foil bags, wooden popsicle sticks etc., to incorporate green elements into their creations. All NA students and staff are welcome!
