Cheng Ming Award 2023/24 – CUHK New Asia College

The Cheng Ming Award, the highest honor bestowed on New Asia students, is now open for application. All New Asia final-year students regardless of majors are now invited to apply.

Award:	Certificate, medal and HK$60,000 scholarship [equally disbursed to each recipient if there are more than one]
Selection Criteria:	Final-year student graduating with first-class honors (medical students are required to obtain the equivalent minimum major GPA and percentage distribution stipulated by the Undergraduate Examinations Board of CUHK), with outstanding extracurricular academic achievements; Good conduct; and Active participation in social services or outstanding leadership qualities.
Application:	1. Submit application form 2. Invite a teaching staff serving in CUHK to be your referee and complete the Recommendation Form 3. Submit confirmation email and supporting documents (Transcript, activities proof etc.) via email to nac.sb@cuhk.edu.hk in PDF format on or before the application deadline.
Note:	1. The recommendation form should be completed by a teaching staff serving in the University. Please ask your referee to complete the recommendation form by sending them the link with your name, SID and major. The form should be completed on or before the application deadline. 2. The unofficial transcript downloadable from CUSIS will be accepted. 3. Proof of participation in activities/social services may include letters, certificates, etc.
