We are pleased to announce that the University Council has approved the re-appointment of Professor Chan Sun-on as the Head of New Asia College for a period of three years, commencing on 1 January 2025.

Professor Chan is an alumnus of New Asia College, and currently serves as Associate Vice-President, College Head, Professor, and Associate Director of the School of Biomedical Sciences (Undergraduate Education). He has also served as our Dean of Students. Professor Chan has made significant contributions to the College as well as to the holistic development of students. During a meeting with College stakeholders on 14 October 2024, Professor Chan exchanged views openly with participants about the directions for College development, demonstrating his deep understanding of College affairs and extensive administrative experience. His re-appointment as the College Head has received unanimous support from all parties concerned.
