Editor’s Pick
This issue featured reflections by Mak Chi-ki Caily (20/Chinese Language and Literature; PhD student of the same Department) on the “Talk on Writers’ Diaries” under the University Chinese Lecture Series. She explored the ambiguity between authenticity and self-construction found in writers’ diaries.

College Activities
This issue included Chua Kit-yuk (Social Work/2) sharing her thoughts on the “Roundtable Forum on Food Sustainability and Waste Reduction”, and Lam Hui-yan (Journalism and Communication/3) recounting her experience in attending the Film Screening and Discussion of “Fallen Treasures”. Both contributors coincidentally touched upon the theme of remaining true to one’s responsibilities amid the feeling of helplessness.

Column “Heterogeneity in a Single Theme”
The theme of this issue is “Eternity”, and is written by two alumni Ms. Wong Yuk-shan (18/Fine Arts) and Mr. Kung Man-chun (17/Journalism and Communication). Yuk-shan commemorated the passing of eternity by portraying the memories lingering in her mind, while Man-chun contemplated the essence of eternity through scenes drawn from everyday life.
