[New Asia Young Scholars Scheme (NAYS)]
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the NAYS Scheme, the College organized a BBQ gathering on 7 January 2023. Participant of this year’s scheme, Or Ka-ying Ice (Chinese Language and Literature/3) recalled the touching moments of the reunion and recorded the sharing of several young scholars.

[Invitation for Articles “Celebrating the Year of the Rabbit”]
To usher in the Year of the Rabbit, this issue invited Dr. Hung Yeuk-chun (96/Chinese Language and Literature), Senior Lecturer of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, CUHK, to introduce the word “rabbit” and its interesting phenomena from the various aspects of language and linguistics, culture, literature, etc.

[Column “Heterogeneity in a Single Theme”]
The theme of this issue is “Strange land”, and is written by two alumni Ms. Wong Yuk-shan (18/Fine Arts) and Ms. Cheung Ying Jasmine (17/Chinese Medicine). Yuk-shan described the scenery of a strange land and expressed the illusory feeling of being in it as a stranger, while Jasmine introduced to us the basic diagnostic methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine and shared her thoughts on video consultation.

[College Activity]
The Committee on Environmental Protection of the College organized a guided tour “Visit to ‘Mil Mill’” on 12 November 2022, where Mr. Harold Yip, Co-founder of “Mil Mill” was invited to discuss the challenges and prospects of the recycling industry in Hong Kong. Chan Man-wai (Computer Science/2) shared with us her experience of the visit.
