New Asia Life Monthly Magazine – April 2026

The main contents of this issue include—

Academic Lecture
The College organised the 37th Ch’ien Mu Lecture in History and Culture. Professor Ge Zhaoguang, Distinguished Professor of the National Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies and the Department of History, Fudan University was invited as the speaker, sharing on the themes of “China in Asia” and “China in the World”.

College Activities
This issue featured Chung Hei-to (Fine Arts/3)’s participation in the guided tour at the CUHK Art Museum under the New Asia Young Scholars Scheme, led by Deputy Director of the Museum and College alumnus Dr. Raymond Tang (92/Fine Arts).

Column “Heterogeneity in a Single Theme”
The theme of this issue is “New Asia and Me” written by two alumni Mr. Chan Pak-ka (07/Chinese Language and Literature) and Ms. Ng Ching-yee (16/Chinese Language and Literature) who shared their own turning points and ties with the College.

Contributions
In this issue, we are honoured to feature an article by Professor Lee Yun-woon (64/Fine Arts; Senior College Tutor) which introduced Ni Zan’s “Poems of Mourning” during the Ching Ming Festival.
