NA-affiliated Professor Liu Ruixuan, Associate Professor of the Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology, received an award from the Research Grants Council (RGC)’s RGC Research Fellow Scheme 2026/27 in recognition of his distinguished research achievements. Professor Liu’s research project is “Deep Generative Modelling Meets Causal Inference”. He will be given the title “RGC Research Fellow”, and receive a fellowship grant of about HK$5.6 million to cover the salary costs for relief teachers and provide resource support to advance these frontier research initiatives over a period of 60 months.
