Our Colleagues Received Funding Support from NSFC/RGC Joint Research Scheme 2025/26

NA-affiliated Professor Chen Yue, Vice-Chancellor Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, and Professor Zhang Lin, Assistant Professor of the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, received funding support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)/Research Grant Council (RGC) Joint Research Scheme 2025/26. Each of them will receive a maximum grant of HK$1.25 million for a period of four years.

Professor Chen’s project is “Trustworthy ‘Computing-energy’ Co-optimisation for Low-carbon Operation and Management of Data Centres”, while that of Professor Zhang is “Deciphering host-bacteria interaction to unravel the aetiology of Helicobacter pylori persistent infection and immune evasion”.

The Scheme aims to promote collaboration between researchers and teams in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland to complement the strengths of both sides.
