New Asia College 70th Anniversary Lecture & Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History 2019
The Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History 2019, which sponsored by the Austin-Eminence Charitable Foundation, will be held in November this year, with Distinguished Professor & Doctoral Advisor He Jun of School of Philosophy, Fudan University as the guest speaker. Details are as follows:
Main Theme
The opening of Neo-Confucianism (Lixue) in Song Dynasty
First Lecture
Topic: Reshaping the doctrine and Shelving the Classic — Dan Zhu’s studies of the Spring and Autumn Annals (Chunqiu) as an example
Date: 10 November 2019 (Sunday)
Time: 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Venue: Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library
(This lecture is jointly organised with the Hong Kong Public Libraries)
Second Lecture
Topic: The philosophy of “understanding the essence to achieve practical use” (Ming Ti Da Yong) and its rise and fall — Hu-Learning (Huxue) as an example

Student Exchange Programmes 2020/2021
The student exchange programmes for 2020/21 will be open for application from 14 October to 4 November 2019. Interested students are required to submit their online applications through the College website. Late application will NOT be accepted. Overseas universities which have exchange programmes with the College include:

Language and Culture Activities
The College will organize the following language activities at Yun Chi Hsien from October to November to enhance students’ language ability and promote intercultural exchange:
i. Cantonese Evenings (21 November, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm)
ii. English Evenings (5 November from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm)
iii. Putonghua Evenings (14 November, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm)
