Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Eco Tour
Organized by the Committee on Environmental Protection of the College, the Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Eco Tour includes visits to San Tin Flood Prevention Information Centre, Yuen Long Bypass Floodway Low Flow Pumping Station & Inflatable Dam, Engineered Wetland and Nam Sang Wai Kam Tin River estuary, hence enhancing the understanding of the flooding tackling strategies and greening works of the Drainage Services Department.

||Free for NA student - Collection of deposit HK$50 (each) will be refunded for those students who complete the visit.

||Please complete the online registration on or before 30 November (Fri) 2018 and send the HK$50 deposit (cash or cheque payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong”, please also state clearly the number of participant(s) and name(s)) to 1/F Cheng Ming Building, New Asia College by mail or in person.
Once the registration is confirmed, cancelation is not accepted.
1. Gather outside University Station Exit A at 1:45pm. A shuttle bus will take the participants to the destination and back to CUHK.
2. Participants are suggested to wear casual clothing (with long-sleeved shirt and long trousers) and also bring along drinking water, sun-proof / mosquito-proof necessities.
3. If the weather is very unstable, the activity may have to be cancelled or postponed until further notice.
